ten56. are one of the most relentless and brutal acts out there at the moment. Downer Part 1 was a fantastic EP, and the release of Yenta made me throw my "do not buy singles"-principle out of the window for the second time in a few days. But how should one be able to resist the downtuned, distorted thunderstorm of thunderous drumwork, breakneck-guitar harmonics and Aaron Matts' vocals? You are right: one shouldn't. I am already looking forward to Downer Part 2.

lyrics
My ears start to burn,
I'm in your mouths again,
Hope you climbed the ladder with your cardboard friends,
Keep talking that shit while your jaw still works,
Well fuck them and fuck you too my life feels no worse,
I'm starting to get the feeling you don't want me around,
That's quite fine with me cause I was faking it the whole time,
suffered through your fake lines,
Trust when I say that I,
Would rather survive an acid attack and fall into a salt mine,
Rumours, kid shit, jealousy, hatred, fake grin, sick witch, my time wasted, you're too, old for this, get a, fucking, life, bitch
Keep that knife close when you sleep
(I'm coming for you)
You feed on attention, just to survive,
shitting on me makes you feel so alive,
Can I watch as you eat up your words from the ground?
Gag on your on bile, I'll dance to the fucking sound
Choke! Swallow your tongue!
Quidnunc, telltale, yenta!
Control alt delete me, dispel and dismiss me, like I ever wanted, to fuck with you bitches, I can't stand to look at you not for a second,
You infantile, desperate, insufferable, piece of shit!
You want to hate me more than I already hate myself?
Well, good luck with that motherfucker, I found my home in the the gutter,
I've stooped way lower than you'll ever fucking go,
I don't need your help,
to send myself back down to hell!
I am more a melodeath guy than deathcore, but I enjoy all the symphonic elements or rythym changes. This album is a BLAST omg my neck hurt, so much headbang🤘🤘 olive855
This might be the band that displaces Metallica as my favorite heavy metal band! It's heavy and has social commentary, which are my two favorite things in music. flannel_bear
I already love Whitechapel. but this album, in my opinion encompasses everything that their sound and style has been evolving towards all of these years, and pulls it off flawlessly. Phil's vocals, both clean and harsh are unbelievably great, and everything from the composition to the instrumentation, to the guitar solo at the end of 'I will find you', one of my favorite parts of the album, Oh, I got to tell you, it was perfect. Perfect! Everything, down to the last, minute details. N30NKN1GHT23
